All kidZart AfterSchool Studentz

Classes are already in session. Please call for more information about the art lessons offered by kidZart.

All kidZart students are required to enroll in one of the kidZart Classes. These classes do not constitute an additional charge.

kidZart© is an AfterSchool Program for grades K through 8. kidZart© follows a 4-hour, 4-month schedule. We are open during the school year for less than four hours each day (Mon. - Fri.) & we are open full-time for less than four months out of the year. We are not affiliated with, nor do we operate as a daycare center. Our school year office hours are from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, from August through May. However, it is extremely rare to actually find someone in the "office." We are usually busy working with the kidz, elsewhere in the building! Our AfterSchool Program includes formal art classes once per week. We offer different classes each year to keep the program fun, interesting, informative & educational for all! Classes run September through May. Classes are required, not optional.

kidZart© Children's Renaissance Center operates as an AfterSchool Program during the School Year, also providing "All Day" service for Teacher Workdays, Holidays, and "Snow" days.

We provide AfterSchool transportation from the following schools:

Smith, Highland, A-O, & Elon Elementary, The Burlington School, Turrentine Middle School, & Western Middle School. We can add schools provided that we have a minimum of four students enrolled in our AfterSchool Program from the additional school.

AfterSchool Hours - 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.

"All day" & Summer Hours are from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm.

 kidZart© discipline policy:

We firmly believe that children should be trained and expected to behave in a civilized manner towards other children and the adults in their lives. At kidZart© we pay close attention to behavior. kidZart© kidz are expected to follow our rules, show respect to adults, be friendly and considerate in their dealings with one another, and take care of the toys, games, and their surroundings. We employ a strict "three strikes" policy that was developed with the children and parents from our first years in business. Physical aggression is not allowed. Endangering yourself or others is not allowed.  "Red Tickets" are issued for infractions to these rules. We work with the children to guarantee that they understand these rules and that they understand what activities can garner a "Red Ticket."  We also confirm that every child in our program understands what the consequences are for securing three "Red Tickets." 

Our discipline policy is based on Responsibility, Accountability, and Consequences. Each child is responsible for their own actions. Each will be held accountable for his or her actions and there are consequences,both good and bad, for the decisions and actions that they carry out. We believe that these are vital lessons for children to learn to help them grow into caring, responsible adults who will become important parts of our society as a whole.

Enrollment Instructions:

To enroll for kidZart's© Afterschool program, please call or contact first to confirm availability at your child's school.  Download and complete the Registration form found on this page & return with your Supply Fee. If you are registering prior to the beginning of the school year, the Supply Fee will be $80.00. If you are registering after the school year has commenced, call or contact us to determine the amount due for the Supply Fee.

2019-2020 Tuition Rates

Monthly Tuition - $215.00

"All Day" fee - $15.00 per day

"Early Pick-up" fee - $10.00 per day

"All Day" & "Early Pick-up" fees are only due if you need them. If your child does not need care on those day, you do not pay for them.
